The second edition of NSF/DOE Quantum Summer School is now accepting applications. Deadline is January 31st.
The 2018 edition is organized at Cornell, June 10 - 22, 2018. Please check the webpage: qs3.mit.edu for information about the School and for access to online application. QS3 will support most travel and local costs for students and postdocs, including reimbursement for travel including economy airfare, dormitory room, and meals.

On October 6, Hampton University will host a PREM Research Symposium at the University's Student Center Cyber and Student Lounge. This year's event will include a keynote speech by Demetris Geddis, Assistant Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, as well as an opening session from 9 a.m.
The National Science Foundation is now accepting proposals for its revised PREM program. Proposals must be submitted by a minority-serving college or university by January 29, 2018.
