Science and Technology of Emergent Materials (STEMS) - 2023
The STEMS 2023 was held at the UCF Campus March 16-17, to showcase the latest advances in quantum and catalyst materials. Organized by the PREM Center for Ultrafast Dynamics and Catalysis in Emerging Materials, STEMS 2023 attracted over 80 students and researchers.
The symposium included 11 invited talks, 18 contributed talks and a poster session. Notable speakers included Joshua Robinson, a professor of materials science at Penn State; Michael Filler, an associate professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology; Tracy Lohr, a research scientist at Shell Corporation; and Madhab Neupane, an associate professor of physics at UCF.
PREM participation from FIU, Navajo Tech University, Delaware State and University of Puerto Rico helped make the event truly memorable!
